ConScience: the word offers repugnant clarity.
So much is what is deemed to be scientific is con-science.
Science has a long tradition of being available to the highest bidder (especially for the Military Industrial Complex).
Can we define the nature of conscience; and what role it has for science?

Evidently we can.
However, we can never relate conscience to science.
Science is a group, a collective, and such has no soul’.
“Conscience” applies only to ‘those with soul’: the individual scientists.
